The cabins are in Häljeboda in northern Eda, a valley just outside Charlottenberg near the Norwegian border. Here are the travel times and how to get here by car, train or plane.
By car
Häljeboda lies close to the Norwegian border in western Värmland, about 16 km from Charlottenberg, roughly a 20 minute drive. From Karlstad it is about 111 km, just under two hours. Turn off road 61 about 4.5 km north of Charlottenberg towards Håvilsrud. Drive 10.5 km to Häljeboda and turn right at the T-junction by Lövås Gård. After about 3.5 km, Ängåsen is on the right-hand side of the road.
From Norway
From Oslo it is about 125 km, roughly two hours by car. Take the E18 towards Kongsvinger, continue on riksvei 2 towards Magnor and cross the border at Eda. Sweden and Norway are both in the Schengen area, so there is no routine passport control, but bring valid ID and keep an eye on the customs rules.
By train
The nearest railway station is Charlottenberg, about 5 km from the Norwegian border. From there regional trains run towards Karlstad and Kristinehamn, and trains towards Kongsvinger with onward connections towards Oslo.
By air
The nearest airports are Karlstad Airport and Oslo Gardermoen, both roughly two hours by car from the cabins.
